I’ve been spending a lot of time thinking. It’s probably safe to say that I spend most of my life thinking (be that a good or bad thing, not entirely certain). I definitely feel like I’m blessed to have known from a very early age some of what I feel my purpose in life is. I’m sure I knew before I was 10, but it was in a very rough draft phase. I’ve needed these past 20 years to grow and develop and experience things -many things- to have a confirmation and to hone in on exactly what I need to do.
I’ve been told by some of the most important people in my life the same things at entirely separate times. Today, I am dually blessed because two things I am wholly passionate about are going to develop starting next year. The first is an open and honest discussion on race, agency, history, culture and everything that that includes. It will have its own interface and be mostly separate of this space. The other is part of what this blog will develop into eventually. I spent this year being more open and I want to go even further in the coming years. This blog is going to move to a new name and my business will stand as a shop alone.
Just so I’m clear, I’ll basically have 3 sites:
- My business (which will be a storefront with pertinent info there only, just like if I were on etsy or something.)
- My blog – which will be parts business and personal development and discussion
- My new site – which will cover topics that are dear to my core but not always directly personal
I will be able to give more info the coming weeks as sites are built and moved around and made ready. I am so excited about this because now I can really explore very different passions at the same time and not feel like I’m being pulled in 1000 directions. Business is also changing for me in the new year. Life is a big grand thing.
I’ll elaborate more when I have more to share.
So what about you? Have you felt or found your purpose or a part of your purpose? Have you taken action to make sure you fulfill that purpose? Share your thoughts and experiences in the comments. I really want to hear what you have to say.
