Well dolls, I’ve come to a decision about this site. A first of many, if you will.
For years now, I’ve had a somewhat hidden blog that I wrote on for maybe 2 years on and off. I’ve decided to start using that space, once I clear it up and all as my official blog and move all of the posts on here, over to there. In the end, this site will function as my business site. There will be links to the blog and the shop, so no worries. I’ll make all the proper changes in time and let you know when things move so you can update your RSS and all that.
In other news, I can’t believe it’s so dark and gloomy and already Thursday here. Um, where the hell is summer already? I don’t really get Dutch weather fully still. It seems like sometimes it rains then around 2:30-3p the sun comes out and it gets warmer. But that’s the middle of the day. The later part of middle at that. I don’t think it’s even hit 80 here yet. In NY, I would’ve tanned already and had soft dewy skin. COME ON DUTCH SUMMER!
I just hope living here doesn’t ruin my love affair with rain. Rain is my favorite weather generally.
Here’s a pic of me after getting my dual citizenship on Tuesday. I’ll do a full post soon. Another 29 at 29 task complete:

That was SUCH a great feeling. Words have yet to describe. Everything else will just finally fall into place. Also, Tuesday was exactly 5 years since we first met. To think it all started at outside a club in NYC. A page from our wedding invitation:

I don’t know what it is exactly, but lately I’ve been wanting makeup again and lots of things I can’t seem to find here or I need to boost up here. Like I know I don’t get enough vitamin D, so I need to find a good liquid supplement of that. I also am just bursting to buy lipsticks and nail polishes. I promised myself in January to start wearing lipstick regularly because there’s something so grown about wearing lipstick. I have been failing a bit so far, but that’s mainly for lack of finding suitable shades. I’m on the hunt for some pinks, nudes, a solid red, and some matte lipsticks.
I did probably the dumbest thing a woman can do when I was moving: on a last minute whim I left all of it in NY. I had a few packed with me, but all my shadows and blushes are in NY. A positive note is that it allows me to try all new things. Things I probably wouldn’t try and that’s a bit exciting. Silver linings and all, huh?
In even more funny rambling news, this video really hit the spot:
